"Call upon Me in the day of trouble. When I rescue you, you will honor Me.”

Psalm 50:15, TLV

Nicole (Aichele) Kallstrom grew up riding horses with her family. After mounting her parents' horse (at the time), Rosie (Major Debut), she quickly climbed the ladder in Barrel Racing, taking home many titles, horse trailers, buckles and saddles. Later on, the Aichele family purchased Blondie (Biankus Frenchgirl) at a local horse auction for $1800. Blondie was a yearling at that time and Nicole was thrilled to have a palomino baby. Little did they know, she would mature to take home Maturity champion titles, numerous earnings in open races and well as professional rodeos, and a highlight of carrying the title of the fastest time to have been run on a WPRA standard pattern for about 4 years (time of 16.643).

Nicole had to step back from competition in 2014 due to horse injuries and was faced with the opportunity to re-evaluate what is truly important in life and where to place her focus and trust; in our Creator and Messiah. Since, she has found a new element to her lessons, clinics, and her own riding and development as a horsewoman which offers so much more to students than just success in riding and barrel racing. Her dedication, passion and devotion to finding "truth" in all of her life, horses included, has grown her to new heights as a horsewoman, human, and trainer. Her dedication to supporting students and their horses has not gone unnoticed as her clients often describe her teaching style as “deep, humble and patient.”

Nicole currently cross-trains in French Classical Dressage under Pippa Callanan, and finds that this "truth" in horsemanship has a flawless transference to barrel racing, for the ultimate betterment of her horses. She is in training to rodeo professionally again in 2025, with the goal of qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo, and doing this in the most honoring way of her horses and Creator. This pursuit has truly bursted the gates of finding "truth" wide open and she can't wait to share it with any who want to hear.

Looking back on the journey from 2014 to current, she is truly grateful that YHWH's promises hold true. That when she called upon Him in her day of trouble, He has faithfully rescued her and will each and every time forevermore. She desires nothing more than to honor Him in every area of her life, including in the gift of her horses.
May it forever be increasingly so.
